Father’s Day

In honor of Father’s Day, I thought I would share one of the articles from my travel blog, Beyond Road Signs. My dad passed away 17 years ago. Time has a way of corroding thoughts. And photographs are sparse, because of a house fire the year before he died, making recollection that much more challenging. I have my writings and continue to journal on occasion when old memories come to mind. Father’s Day is bittersweet. Taking a moment to ponder and count my blessings . . .
